The goal with making Brainfreeze

What started as a collection of prints grew into a diverse range of products, including hoodies, stickers, tote bags, and t-shirts, making my work accessible and wearable for a wider audience. The overall mission was to create and share art that explored themes of isolation, human connection, and the raw emotion of angst. Through Brainfreeze, I aimed to evoke reflection and resonate with those who saw beauty in vulnerability and the complexities of the human experience. Each piece told a story and created a space for deeper connection and understanding, allowing viewers to engage with the emotions that bound them all.

Brainfreeze

Year
2021-2022

Although the brand only lasted for less than a year due to my inability to keep it going, it provided me with a valuable introduction to life as a businesswoman.

Through different mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, and crayon, I was able to communicate the mission of Brainfreeze by capturing raw, emotional experiences and the complex nature of human connection. Each medium allowed me to express the vulnerability and intensity of isolation and angst in unique ways, giving voice to emotions that many people may struggle to articulate. The fluidity of watercolor, the boldness of acrylic, and the texture of crayon all helped to convey the different layers of the human experience. Together, these mediums created a dynamic narrative that resonated with viewers, inviting them to reflect on their own struggles and the power of shared emotions.
